I was born into a swimming family with my older brother and sisters all being competitive swimmers. At an early age I won county titles and also swam at regional and national level.
Swimming was soon replaced by my love of football, much to the disappointment of my parents. However, after a lengthy career break, I fell back in love with swimming and get immense satisfaction from working with people and helping them achieve their goals.
As well as teaching and coaching, I also compete in Masters’ events and have managed to win fourteen British titles, seven of which were achieved in open water events.
I am the current British champion at both 1500 and 3000 metre distances and a silver medallist at the 2016 European championships (all open water), so I have a wealth of experience to pass on to people.
I am a fully qualified A.S.A Instructor and Coach and over the years’ I’ve worked with an extremely wide range of clients, ranging from non-swimmers, to people competing at world level
